ISM

The "International Solidarity Movement – ISM" is an anti-Israel organization that was established in August 2001 and constitutes a part of the coalition of organizations that manage a delegitimization campaign against the State of Israel and negates its right to exist as a Jewish state.

During the Second Intifada, in light of the understanding that the IDF relates more tolerably toward international activists and refrains from confrontation with them, the organization was established by a nucleus of extreme left-wing activists from the US, who were joined by left-wing Palestinian activists and a number of left-wing pro-Palestinian activists from Israel.   “This organization has set itself the target of granting international aid to the Palestinian struggle and to exhibit solidarity with it, through the use of nonviolent tactics called “direct action” (a term taken from the lexicon of the struggles from the revolutionaries of the extreme left and of the Citizen Rights Movement).”
