Ghazi Issa is the Igatha 48 Association director and number 15 on Ra'am's list for the 24th Knesset. He was one of the coalition negotiation team and chaired the party conference.
In 2019, as part of the association's activities, he participated in the inauguration of the Igatha 48 Gaza branch. Another of the event attendees was Ghazi Hamad a member of the Hamas political bureau. In January 2020, Ghazi Issa met with the manager of the International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
On August 18, 2015, Ghazi Issa participated in a demonstration supporting Muhammad Allan: an Islamic Jihad terrorist who, after recruiting a terrorist to carry out a suicide bombing, was imprisoned in Israel between 2006 and 2009.
During Operation 'Guardian of the Walls' in Gaza, Ghazi Issa posted on Facebook a quote from MK Walid Taha, which accuses Israel of killing innocent children and women intentionally, and systematically destroying residential buildings.
Issa is active in the Islamic Movement (southern faction) and was the Islamic Movement's director of their candidate selection conference for the Ra'am Party, which took place on January 16, 2021.
Issa's multiplicity of activities and connections make him a key figure in unraveling the fabric of intricate connections between the Ra'am Party and the Islamic Movement in Israel and between the latter and the Hamas organization in Gaza: financing terrorists' families, financing Hamas terrorist funds, and distributing large sums of money from Israel to various destinations in Judea and Samaria, the Gaza Strip and several Arab countries.
